Roberto Echeverria Jr has been the Chief Winemaker at Echeverria since 2001. Inspired by his French heritage, Roberto’s signature style produces wines with a combination of Old World elegance and New World energy. His European viticultural techniques include timely harvesting to avoid over ripeness and therefore good balance and control of alcohol levels. His focus is on French varietals, barrels and yeasts, as well as longer fermentation and ageing in barrels. It is this very skill that results here in a wine full of aromas of green apples, pineapples and peaches combining nicely with notes of fresh herbs and lemon blossoms. On the palate, be ready for a fresh and tasty wine with a round and fruity finish.
